Recipients of this award are engaged on campus, involved in community service and show leadership initiative. Students are nominated by a faculty or staff member and must have senior status with a 3.0 GPA. Thirty-six students were awarded WU's Who for the 2020-2021 school year.

Madison Farr Receives Sibberson Award
Madison Farr is one of four Washburn University graduates to receive the spring 2020 Sibberson Award. The award is Washburn's highest academic honor, given to the highest-ranking members of the graduating class. Farr graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. Sibberson awards are made annually, traditionally during commencement, with one award in December and four in May. For spring semester graduates, the highest-ranking member of the senior class from the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Applied Studies, the School of Business and the School of Nursing receives the award. These four students were selected from 18 finalists.
