2025-2026 Dancing Blues Team Announced
Already preparing to support our men and women in blue, Washburn has selected its Dancing Blues team members for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. The Dancing Blues are an integral part of Washburn spirit. Serving as the university dance team, the Dancing Blues perform at all home football games, women's and men's basketball games, NCAA tournament games and appear at university and alumni events.

Washburn University Dancing Blues Named Division II National Champions
The Dancing Blues dance team earned the overall Division II National Championship title in the national American Dance/Drill Team competition. They also placed first in both the jazz and hip-hop categories.
