Washburn University Awards Presidential Scholarship
Washburn University has awarded the Presidential Scholarship to 17 incoming students for the 2021-2022 school year. The Presidential Scholarship is a $1,000 renewable scholarship awarded to select students from each Shawnee County high school or home school. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and be nominated by their high school guidance counselor.

Washburn Awards Richey Scholarship to Three Students
Washburn University has awarded the Richey Scholarship to three incoming freshmen for the 2021-2022 school year. The Richey Scholarship is Washburn's premier scholarship. Renewable for four years, the $7,000 award can provide $28,000 in assistance toward an undergraduate degree.
